Today is Thanksgiving (if you’re in America. If you’re not, it’s just a Thursday). We celebrate this day with mounds of food,
alcoholic beverages, and enough desserts to sink a ship. However, sometimes we forget what this holiday is all about. GIVING THANKS BEING THANKFUL THANKSGIVING.
Don’t get me wrong, I am a HUGE fan of food and I love Thanksgiving because of that. But I’ve realized lately that I have not been as thankful as I should be. My life is great and I need to be more thankful. If you look at your life, I think you will find that your life is also pretty sweet and you could be a little more thankful. Let’s take this Thanksgiving to all show a little more thanks and appreciation for the people and things in our life.
Yes, you can be thankful while you stuff your face with, well, stuffing, but you should also put down that turkey leg and tell the person next to you that you are thankful for them. Then pick that turkey leg back up and go to town. Remember to thank the person (or people) who cooked. Help clean up after dinner. Listen to the conversation around you. You don’t have to participate, but at least be attentive and aware.
Use this day to be thankful for the things you have.
That is all.
Happy Thanksgiving. Go eat some food.
P.S. I am starting to plan a December type thing, similar to Vlogmas but NOT. It will be here and on my Instagram so FOLLOW ME ON THE INSTAGRAM. Drinktea.readbooks.teachall
